Tools Needed
To apply Onslaught Microencapsulated Insecticide you can use a backpack sprayer, a hand-pump sprayer or a spraying.
How to Use
- Step 1: Shake the bottle of insecticide well before diluting.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank half way with water before adding the proper amount of Onslaught concentrated solution at a rate of 0.5 ounces per gallon of water per 1,000 square feet..
- Step 3: Add the rest of the water required for the proper dilution and agitate the tank before spraying and periodically during applications.
- Step 4:Apply Onslaught as a broadcast surface spray, crack and crevice treatment, or inject into wall voids. After the infestation has died out, you can spray quarterly for continued control.
Where to Use
Onslaught can be used indoors or outdoors to residential, commercial and industrial infrastructures. For indoor use, Onslaught can be sprayed in cracks, crevices, under appliances, around doors, windows, baseboards, attics and basements.
For outdoor use, Onslaught can be used as a perimeter treatment around homes and other building structures. It can be sprayed around the outside of doors and windows, on patios, porches, barns, in weep holes, and wall voids around plumbing, landscapes, bushes, and wood structures. It can also be injected into slabs of concrete such as driveways or sidewalks.
When to Use
Onslaught is a slow acting residual insecticide that is also lethal when insects come in physical contact with it. This makes it more effective when used as a prevention method, but can be used as a treatment method as well. Depending on which outdoor insect is being controlled, will depend on the time of day the product should be applied. Do not make outdoor applications during rainy weather.
Safety Information
Onslaught is safe to use around humans and pets when used according to the product label. Wait until applications are dry before making contact with treated surfaces.
